What's new with Aptar
The Quality Attendant position is responsible for monitoring product conformity to requirements from the production floor. Responsible for the timely and accurate inspection of various parts and/or assemblies as assigned, quality specifications and respective ISO and safety requirements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
* Adherence to written procedures and documents related to role.
* Visual, functional, and dimensional inspection of products.
* Documentation of product inspection results.
* Reporting, identification and segregation of nonconforming products.
* Successful identification of nonconformities and defects.
* Compliance with required safety, ISO, and other procedures associated with role
* Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
* Education:
o High school diploma or GED * Experience:
o Entry level position, prefer some manufacturing or quality experience
* Skills
o Strong attention to detail
o Demonstrated computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office
o Strong self-direction, consistency in repetitive processes, ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously, and good attendance history
o Demonstrated basic math skills, ability to read decimals into the thousandths, and understanding of measurement conversions
o Must possess an excellent work ethic and basic problem solving abilities
o Timely and accurate monitoring of acceptable and rejectable production from the floor
o Ability to follow and act upon related ISO procedures that relate to job responsibilities
o Demonstrated ability to take initiative and to seek assistance when appropriate
o Willing to work on all shifts as assigned
o Positive teamwork attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to read, write, and understand English
o Ability to follow instructions and related procedures within a fast paced environment
o Must have good visual acuity and the ability to detect visual changes of components under a microscope
o Must be able to discern shades of color and color differences relating to component parts used in the manufacturing process
