We're hiring a Consumer Loan Processor to join our Consumer Lending Support Team.



Responsibilities

  • Responsible to comply with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct
  • Pipeline consists of all the loan products, primarily residential secured loans
  • Ensure timely and independent processing of loan files, in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, corporate policies and procedures, including:
  1. Review the application package for completeness and conformity to the applicable loan program requirements
  2. Complete and deliver the application and loan disclosures in compliance with the required timeline/regulations for the appropriate loan program
  3. Order and track applicable services such as, Social Security Verifications, IRS tax Transcripts, Appraisal and Title
  4. Request and track additional documentation needed to submit the loan file to underwriting, from the branch and/or borrower
  5. Review and analyze the income documentation and appraisal, calculate income, DTI and CLTV, and validate that the documentation agrees with the loan request.
  6. Review the title to ensure the lenders intended lien position. Investigate and resolve any lien and /or judgment issues
  7. Obtain any additional documentation from customer to clear all underwriting conditions and prepare file for closing
  8. Ensure all loans are updated throughout the process in the Encompass or Meridian Link
  9. Monitor pipeline to ensure that all regulatory timeframes are met
  • Perform additional duties as requested/required


Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent to 1+ years of experience in Mortgage or Consumer banking

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while interacting with branch staff, sales staff, vendors, and customers.

Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and able to work with multiple deadlines.

Demonstrated ability to work through and resolve problems

Knowledge of consumer loan guidelines, regulations and requirements preferred

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Encompass 360, and Meridian link systems highly preferred

Must possess a positive attitude, strong communication and customer service skills

Wage Range:

The salary for this position ranges from $15.29 to $26.63
