If so, consider applying for the Senior Career Development Advisor role with the Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) at Embry-Riddle Worldwide.

This position plays a critical leadership role in planning, coordinating, and delivering comprehensive career services to students and alumni. The Senior Career Development Advisor supports the Executive Director and Associate Director by overseeing key initiatives, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring excellence in career development programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise students and alumni on career exploration, internship and job search strategies, resume writing, interview preparation, and networking.

  • Lead and support strategic initiatives that enhance the career readiness of ERAU Worldwide students.

  • Oversee the implementation and management of career development platforms such as Handshake, Quinncia, and related technologies.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including deans, faculty, CCPD colleagues across campuses, the Alumni Association, and student support services.

  • Build and sustain relationships with employers and industry partners to create experiential learning and employment opportunities.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members within CCPD.

  • Assist with data reporting, assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Represent the CCPD at virtual and in-person events, conferences, and meetings as needed.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in counseling, higher education, business, or related field

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in career services, employer relations, academic advising, or related areas

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficiency with virtual platforms, career development tools, and digital communications

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or hybrid environment

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field

  • Experience working in a higher education setting, preferably with nontraditional or online students

  • Familiarity with Handshake, Quinncia, or comparable career management systems

  • Experience developing and leading student-focused programs or workshops
