Base compensation starting at $180,000.00 with bonus potential

Responsibilities

As the Vice President of Senior Living, Home Health, you will be responsible for developing and expanding executive-level partnerships with nationwide strategic, senior living accounts. This position is also responsible for developing and driving strategic plans for each region, growing market share, and ensuring continued satisfaction, brand loyalty, and referral activity. Also responsible for working collaboratively with regional leadership as well as key cross-functional departments to drive brand presence and home health utilization.

  • Leads the strategy, training, and development efforts for the senior living program, aligning initiatives with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Drives the creation and implementation of content and educational materials that support the strategic direction and growth of the senior living program.
  • Manages a team of regional Senior Living Advisors in targeting and all marketing activity and direction.
  • Works directly with senior leadership and Area Vice Presidents (AVP) to identify target accounts and to develop strategies for account pursuit including identification of goals, key metrics, expected outcomes, etc.
  • Focuses on developing partnerships with c-suite executives within senior living organizations and regional facility chains.
  • Maintains ongoing, strategic communication with the SVP to report progress, align on priorities, and ensure successful development and execution of program strategy collaboration with full continuum stakeholders across lines of business.
  • Maintains tracking system to communicate to VPs, AVPs and other regional Home Health and/or Hospice leaders regarding status of account relationships, as well as identified next steps.
  • Partners with regional and corporate leadership to identify, develop, and execute high-impact, executive-level sales opportunities that drive growth and strengthen market position.
  • Works collaboratively with local sales and operations teams to ensure seamless account management and follow-through.
  • Develops proposals to enhance business relationships and to expand service offering within strategic accounts, with specific focus on identifying opportunities for embedding clinical team for referral management.
  • Proactively leads and executes communications strategies with assigned opportunities and relationships, including discovery, business planning, strategic initiatives, project execution as well as measurement and monitoring of post-implementation.
  • Achieves referral and admission volume growth across national senior living accounts.
  • Represents the organization at key conferences and industry-specific events, aligning attendance with strategic priorities to enhance visibility, foster partnerships, and inform business growth initiatives.
  • Ensures compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory mandates including but not limited to abiding to the terms of the Amedisys Compliance Program.
  • Monitors and evaluates employee performance. Holds employees accountable for the attainment of defined goals and objectives. Executes effective performance redirection when needed. Develops employees through coaching, mentoring, and formal/on the job training and development opportunities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field; or licensed Registered Nurse.
  • Ten (10+) years' healthcare marketing/sales experience, with three (3+) years' experience in home health or hospice.
  • Five (5+) years' management experience.
  • Demonstrated success working with and selling to C-level executives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining trusted relationships with key clients and partners through persuasive, high-impact communication.
