  • Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's Level II Trauma and tertiary care center and home to the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue.

Responsibilities

  • Provides care to patients suffering cardiopulmonary, neurological or other metabolic disturbances, which require quality Electrocardiographs (EKG's), Holter Monitors, Event Monitors or Cardiac Stress Tests.
  • Correctly perform and manage EKG's, Holter Monitoring, Event Monitoring and Cardiac Stress Testing in on a diverse patient population in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Communicates with physician concerning procedures, maintaining a professional relationship with the medical staff.
  • Instructs patients, takes phone orders, manage files, schedule procedures and performs other cardiopulmonary care services functions as directed.
  • Document and bill procedures in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintains awareness of environmental conditions and initiates corrective intervention as indicated.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High School Graduation or Equivalent.
  • Current American Heart or American Red Cross BLS certification.
