JOB SUMMARY |
The Human Resources Site Leader is responsible for directly carry out Human Resources process at the site. This position requires a high level of involvement in daily HR activities, ensuring that processes related to employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, compliance, and organizational culture are performed efficiently and in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. The HR Leader serves as the primary HR contact for the site and is expected to lead by example, taking ownership of both administrative and hands-on responsibilities. |
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Carry out end-to-end HR processes, including hands-on tasks in all HR processes such as onboarding, Recruitment, Payroll, terminations, policy communication, etc.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related matters.
- Carry out the employee engagement initiatives (e.g., events, recognition programs, surveys), including vendor negotiation, materials purchasing, and logistics.
- Carry out the Social Responsibility and Institutional events, including planning, communications and participation in events to ensure their successful execution and positive impact on employee morale.
- Support site leaders with performance management, talent development tracking, and employee relations issues - providing recommendations, documentation, and coordination.
- Manage local employee communications, including bulletin boards, newsletters, and internal announcements.
- Provide expert employee relations support to managers, supervisors, and employees, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant handling of complaints, discipline, performance management, and corrective actions.
- Conduct through and impartial investigations in response to employee allegations or management inquiries.
- Maintain and expand knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws and regulations affecting human resource management, utilizing labor counsel as needed.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing environment through a regular presence on the shop floor and interaction with supported manufacturing areas.
- Conduct regular floor walks to identify operational needs, workforce requirements, and continuous improvement opportunities.

- Excellent problem solving skills
- Strong understanding of U.S. employment laws and HR compliance practices.

- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and execute with minimal supervision.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE |
Required Education / Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
