Are you an experienced accounting professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for financial accuracy? Join a dynamic and collaborative finance team as a Senior Staff Accountant supporting critical operations during a temporary leave. This role is estimated to last through September to help cover the current SR Accountant's leave time. This is a full-time, on-site role in Lewisville, TX, offering competitive hourly pay and the opportunity to work with a respected organization that values integrity and excellence. What You'll Do: As a key member of the Accounting team, you'll partner with cross-functional departments and handle essential responsibilities related to monthly and quarterly closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Your day-to-day will include: Performing monthly and mid-cycle bank and balance sheet account reconciliations Recording journal entries and conducting detailed month-end analysis Collaborating with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and General Accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate financial entries Investigating and resolving discrepancies in reconciliations and financial variances Assisting in quarterly audit support and financial reporting Supporting the integration of acquired entities into financial systems Identifying and addressing control weaknesses and process improvements Navigating multiple systems and understanding data flow into SAP What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (BS/BA required) 5+ years of relevant accounting experience CPA or CMA designation and/or Master's degree preferred Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and JDE Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment Why You Should Apply: Competitive pay at $35-$40.50/hour Gain experience with a top-tier organization during a critical coverage period Build valuable relationships across multiple departments Put your skills to use in a meaningful, high-impact role #LI-KA1 After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
