Inventory Controller ajc

Duties and Responsibilities

- Responsible for controlling the total inventory holding for both business units Lippmann & Aftermarket at the Milwaukee (Cudahy) facility

- Execute regular cycle counts through the facility on a regular basis

- Manage regular inventory audits and reconciliation as per given guidelines

- Facilitate and drive the year-end inventory count to meet Metso financial audit regulations

- Work with cross functional teams to identify obsolete and surplus inventory, and disposition accordingly

- Maintain and update item master files including new item setup

- Responsible for inventory min/max levels in coordination with the Purchasing group

- Coordinate with Purchasing for material availability and lead times

- Ensure data integrity is maintained in ERP (M2M) and system is up to date

- Lead special projects as they relate to inventory and production planning

- Work with Engineering to correct any discrepancies with Bills of Materials (BOM's)

- Maintain HOT LIST of parts shortages that impact current builds and liaison with Purchasing and production groups to resolve

- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs.

* Knowledge of Manufacturing Industry.

Safety and Training Responsibilities:

* Use safety apparatuses, PPE, and other tools to maintain a safe environment.

* Participate in on-going training provided by the organization.

* Observe health and safety signs, posters, warning signals and written directions.

* Follow safe practices: OSHA, SDS, PPE.

* Communicate unsafe practices and conditions.

* Report any injuries or near misses.
