Position Description:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will work independently and in collaboration with members of the Kern National Network for Flourishing and under the direction of primary investigators, to advance program objectives related to organizational partnerships. The Sr Project Manager will work with KNN area leads to establish goals and objectives through effective planning, organizing, directing, controlling and coordinating of tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the intake and engagement phases of organizational partnerships working with area leaders, deploying project management techniques, using effective communication, and group facilitation skills.
  • Oversee and manage the project planning processes for organizational partners, ensuring achievement of goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of on the partner engagement journey, executing tasks, securing necessary resources, and developing and maintaining project schedules to ensure the timely and successful completion of project activities.
  • Create and manage project work plans, adjusting them to accommodate changing needs, scope modifications, and evolving project requirements.
  • Participate in planning and execution of on-site partner visits and ongoing consultation to move partners through their partner journey.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional policies.
  • Guarantee deliverables adherence to the partner engagement journey process and meet high standards of completion.
  • Adopt a relational work approach with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and facilitate workgroups and teams, fostering cross-functional collaboration among departments and participants.
  • Assign tasks to project team members judiciously, overseeing and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of project assignments
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and dissemination of program data; contribute to the reporting of program data and project progress.
  • Craft and oversee effective communication plans that address all aspects of the partner journey and tailor messaging to suit the diverse needs of partners.
  • Utilize a rigorous project management approach on ensuring project success even in the face of shifting circumstances.

Knowledge - Skills - Abilities

  • Able to independently manage assigned projects, tasks and workgroups; accurately complete project within budget and by the due date with high customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrates a strong background and practical experience in project management and project management best practices and methodologies.
  • Able to recognize issues and determine priority. Able to quickly isolate and independently resolve issues utilizing all available resources. Able to proactively prevent issues from occurring again and to anticipate future issues.
  • Effectively communicates in both written and verbal form to customers and management. Able to create comprehensive documentation for all phases of the project.
  • Able to handle stressful situations calmly and patiently. Must maintain a positive attitude in all situations.
All remote work must be performed within one of the MCW registered payroll states, which currently includes: WI, AZ, FL, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, TN,TX, and UT.



Preferred Schedule:




M-F, 8am-5pm



Position Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.
Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree
Minimum experience: 7 years

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred education: Master's Degree
Preferred experience: 8 plus years of project management experience.

Target salary range for this position is between $86,300.00 and $110,400.00 annually. The final offered salary will depend on the applicant's education, experience, skills, and knowledge, as well as considerations of internal equity and market alignment.
