Senior Civil Engineer needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work on-site in Ogden, UT. Education and Experience Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience. Required Knowledge and Skills: Career-level position within field Considered skilled and proficient in discipline Professional with an understanding of area of specialization, resolves a wide range of issues. US citizenship is required per contract requirement. Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Prior experience in designing facilities, roadways, site layout, and/or grading plans. Ability to independently execute the design of facilities, roadways, site layout, and/or grading plans. Experience with CADD applications, such as Civil 3D, Revit, or MicroStation. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Thorough knowledge of engineering deliverables, such as drawings, specifications, and material requisitions and construction methods. Understands work processes of other disciplines and departments on projects. Ability to express technical issues in a clear and concise manner, both written and verbally. Ability to resolve design issues with subordinates, suppliers, other engineering disciplines, construction, and the client. Experience with procurement automation tools. Intermediate knowledge of developing CSI Masterformat specifications or SpecsIntact. Design experience with Unified Facilities Criteria and the Whole Building Design Guide.
