Your Impact

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales of SD-WAN and SASE products and solutions within a specific geographic territory. You are motivated by success and will represent Cisco's Enterprise Networking Sales organization and its product suite within the region. You will work with Inside Sales, Systems Engineers, and Cisco Partners to exceed sales objectives. In this position, you will own the entire sales process including lead management, qualification, evaluation, close and account care. You will also play an integral role in the success of the overall sales team.

  • Define and implement sales plans for the assigned territory.
  • Meet and exceed quotas through prospecting, qualifying, leading and closing opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Prospect, develop and assess sales moving a large number of transactions through the pipeline.
  • Use Salesforce to track customers and transactional information as well as provide forecasts and pipeline reporting.
  • Own and collaborate on all aspects of the sales cycle, including product support and sales engineering.
  • Implement product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Develop accounts of various sizes and grow client relationships.
  • Understand the competition through familiarity with their product suites and offerings.
  • Collaborate within the Enterprise Networking sales team on strategy setting, sales training, marketing efforts and customer care.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of enterprise networking sales experience with a track record of closing sophisticated sales to Fortune 500 companies.
  • 2+ years of working in a matrixed organization where you work with multiple partner groups to increase your results.
  • Must be willing to travel 30% of the time.
  • Must be located near a major airport in the western region.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • SD-WAN and/or SASE sales experience
