Job Description

Location: US or any country where EGPAF operates; Nairobi, Kenya preferred

Reports to: Head, Total Rewards

HealthX Partners Incorporated (HXP) seeks a Senior Manager, HR Systems that will drive the implementation of HR strategy through effective use of technology. This role will ensure that HR systems and technology align to support both the day-to-day work and long-term goals of the HR team. The Senior Manager will lead initiatives to enhance and, when necessary, redesign HR processes to improve efficiency, data integrity, and user experience.

  • Lead the sourcing, selection, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of all HR systems to meet the needs of HXP's and its subsidiaries' global talent footprint. Serve as liaison between HR, Payroll and IT departments. Ensure data security and compliance and conduct ongoing audit and quality assurance to ensure data integrity. Monitor and improve data collection and reporting procedures for efficiency. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex or escalated issues that arise regarding systems and data. Perform testing for software upgrades and new module implementation. Maintain internal database files and tables and develop and run more complex queries and custom reports.
  • Lead initiatives, to ensure global employment compliance and to streamline workflows and optimize how HR functional leads (benefits, compensation, business partners, L&D) interact with HR systems, automating processes whenever possible. Support and/or lead special HR projects as needed.
  • Serve as the primary HR Systems point of contact for the implementation of HXP's new ERP system. Lead the HR workstream in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring HR requirements are accurately captured, prioritized, and integrated into the overall ERP design. Coordinate testing, change management, and data migration efforts, and provide guidance on system configuration to align with HR's strategic goals. Act as a liaison between HR, IT, and external implementation partners to ensure a smooth and successful deployment, while preparing HR staff for post-implementation adoption and ongoing system optimization.
  • Stay informed of industry trends to identify new and more effective HR technologies that meet departmental and organizational needs. Oversee the procurement or development and implementation of new or updated vendors and systems to allow HXP to legally engage with employees across international borders without risk violating employment laws.
  • Supervise and develop team members. Make recommendations concerning employment, termination, performance evaluations, salary actions, and other personnel actions. Set team and individual goals. Prioritize, organize, delegate, and coordinate the flow of work. Enhance individual employee performance through frequent and timely communication and support.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in a related field
  • At least 10 years of related experience. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • HR certification preferred.
  • Subject matter expert in HR technology and systems. In-depth knowledge of industry trends.
  • Excellent project management skills. Training and certification in project management preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to proactively identify opportunities, diagnose problems and develop client-centered and evidence-based solutions.
  • Strong management skills. Knowing when to coach, when to advise and when to provide specific direction related to direct reports.
  • Advanced expertise in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent customer service, relationship building/management and consensus building skills.

Salary Range

HealthX Partners Incorporated is committed to pay equity and transparency. We ensure pay meets the market within each country. This approach minimizes our impact on local talent markets and allows HXP to attract and retain employees, while staying cost-competitive.

Actual base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as a candidate's qualifications, experience, internal equity, external market analysis, and other business factors permitted by law. Hiring above the mid-point of the range below would not be typical in order to allow for potential future salary growth.

HealthX Partners Incorporated is offering the following gross annual salary ranges for this position, dependent on candidate location:

  • For the United States (paid in USD): $111,000 (minimum) - $139,000 (midpoint) - $167,000 (maximum)

  • For Kenya (paid in Ksh): Ksh 5,460,000 (minimum) - Ksh 9,100,000 (midpoint) - Ksh 11,830,000 (maximum)

Pay and benefits will be commensurate with the role and practices of the local office, including payment in local currency. Details will be provided during interview process.
