Full-time Description
STRUCTR Advisors is seeking a Commissioning Technician, MEP, to support ongoing projects within our team. In this role, you will assist with the development and implementation of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) commissioning activities and contribute to construction consulting and third-party commissioning efforts. Under the guidance of senior team members, you will help ensure MEP systems are designed, installed, and operating according to project requirements, while also learning to provide support and insight across design, construction, and facilities management processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ? Assist with evaluating, estimating, and contributing to Mechanical Analysis related project proposals and contracts. ? Assist with performing the overall commissioning process. o Design Review o Generating commissioning checklists and test procedures o Witness testing and documentation of functional performance tests o Issue log generation ? Work with the senior Manager to perform site inspections for MEP compliance with contract documents. ? Coordinate MEP field activities with the project team, as required. ? Be comfortable managing multiple projects at varying stages within a lifecycle. ? Provide training and education for employees and customers on the effective use of the Commissioning process when needed. ? Attend necessary company and project meetings. ? Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Experience: ? Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. ? 3 years of experience with commissioning related processes. ? 3 years of experience in the AEC industry. ? Experience and knowledge of commissioning, project/field management, means and methods, document administration and a thorough understanding of industry practices. ? Excellent leadership, communication, computer, and interpersonal skills. ? Approach every responsibility and interaction with a high level of integrity, fairness, care, and concern. ?
