About the Role:

Interns gain vocational experience through temporary work placement. They learn by doing tasks, as directed, to support Hitachi Energy Engineering and operations. Through the internship program, students can enhance their personal and educational skills while gaining on-the-job experience.

How You'll Make a Difference:

  • Perform the assignments associated with various engineering operations and activities.
  • Support the implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of products and services within defined areas as directed by the Engineering manager.
  • Learn to accomplish relevant tasks through practical experience, support courses of academic study, and/or enhance personal employment opportunities.
  • Create CAD drawings and analyze the Bill of materials.
  • Analyzes and monitors trends regarding incidents, inspections, audits, and corrective measures and keeps the Engineering manager informed
  • May work under a direct supervisor or independently, generally delivering on pre-defined tasks/projects.
  • Assignments require the application of various concepts, familiarization with related computer programs, AutoCAD, 3D Modeling, and a general understanding of the operation in order to provide effective support
  • Requires ability to communicate effectively and resolve routine problems

Your Background:

Currently enrolled or recent graduate of a four-year Engineering college degree program - preferably in Mechanical area.
