Your new role

Ramboll is seeking Air Quality Lead Consultant candidates for an open position in our Seattle office. The ideal candidate will be working in a challenging and dynamic environment that will include a detail-oriented team and independent work.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Lead air permitting and air quality dispersion modeling tasks following regulatory guidelines
  • Prepare annual emissions inventories and greenhouse gas reports
  • Independently review and QA work generated by team members
  • Independent research and problem solving regarding state and federal regulatory guidance
  • Serve as assistant project manager on WA, OR and regional air quality projects

About you

  • Minimum of a BS in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, Engineering or related science degree, with 3+ years of air quality experience
  • Proficient with developing complex emissions calculations/inventories and reporting programs.
  • Understanding of typical and non-typical emission sources, standards, and control technologies (RBLC). Able to provide training/mentoring to new team members.
  • Proficient with 3-4 Air Permitting Programs (local/state minor permitting, Title V, multiple states/jurisdictions).
  • Assisting with development of scopes of work and budgets. Serve as assistant project manager on routine air quality projects in Washington, Oregon and other Northwest states.

At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annualbase salary between $81,515 - $101,894. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, includingexperience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training andskill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
