Patient Services Representative Location: Roslyn NY (ONSITE NOT REMOTE) Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM - Must be open to working 1 Thursday per month 12PM-8PM Job Overview The Patient Services Representative (also referred to as Patient Care Representative or Patient Service Advocate) serves as the first point of contact for patients and is responsible for ensuring a smooth and professional experience throughout the patient journey. Key Responsibilities * Patient Registration: Accurately register patients and verify insurance information. * Record Management: Maintain and update patient records with attention to confidentiality and compliance. * Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and manage patient appointments efficiently. * Insurance Verification: Confirm insurance coverage and resolve discrepancies. * Patient Interaction: Greet and assist patients courteously, addressing concerns and providing support. * Physician Correspondence: Manage communication with physicians and healthcare providers. * Check-in Process: Facilitate patient check-in and ensure all documentation is complete 1 2 4. Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED required. * Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare software (e.g., Athena, ECW). * Strong communication, multitasking, and organisational skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 1.
