Summary of Job Duties:Contracts Analyst is responsible for managing revenue contracts for departments and services lines across UAMS. The Contracts Analyst provides financial review and oversight of assigned contracts including profitability, billing, collections, and provides various financial reports to department and service line management, leadership, and external organizations. Contracts Analyst builds and maintains relationships with department and services line administrators and staff to assist in overall management of revenue contracts. Contracts Analyst ensures accuracy and timely billing of revenue contracts and resolves collections of past due invoices. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field OR an Associate's Degree PLUS minimum one (1) year of related experience OR a High School Diploma PLUS five (5)years of related experience.

  • Must have Advanced Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in contract & procurement is preferred.

Additional Information:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides financial oversight, analysis and reporting related to contract profitability, billing, and collections to department and service line management, leadership, and external organizations.

  • Manages relationships with department and service line administrators and staff and UAMS customers to provide service and advice as needed related to revenue contracts .

  • Monitors and assists in the contract renewal process, working with departments and services lines to ensure renewals are timely and accurate.

  • Inputs, verifies and maintains information in the contracts management system.

  • Manages processing of Customer Contract invoices in Workday and ensure invoices are timely, accurate and in accordance with the terms of the contract.

  • Monitors and resolve collections of past due invoices.

  • Provides reports to management as scheduled or as needed.

  • Completes projects as requested.
