What you'll do:

We are seeking a highly motivated Staff IT Analyst II to join our growing IT Asset Management (ITAM) Governance team. This role will play a critical part in maturing and stabilizing our Hardware and Software Asset Management (HAM/SAM) processes, supporting operational execution, compliance, and technology enablement. As we continue to build and scale our asset management capabilities, this role requires someone who can balance process discipline with agile delivery, stakeholder support, and system enhancement-all within a highly regulated environment.
This individual will work across multiple functions including purchasing, compliance, IT operations, cybersecurity, finance, and platform teams, ensuring end-to-end lifecycle management of technology assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT Asset Management principles, experience working with platforms like ServiceNow (including CMDB, HAM Pro, and SAM Pro), and the ability to support ITAM governance and execution activities.
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise asset management policies, procedures, and controls throughout the lifecycle of hardware and software assets.
  • Execute day-to-day ITAM operational processes.
  • Support execution and evidence collection for IT and security controls; track and report on compliance across hardware and software asset inventories.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) to ensure threshold adherence and continual improvement.
  • Monitor daily asset management operations, ensuring execution aligns with defined procedures, and act as a point of escalation for exceptions.
  • Serve as a liaison between requesters, procurement, deployment teams, support functions, and compliance to ensure seamless lifecycle transitions-from request to disposal.
  • Provide evidence, participate in walkthroughs, and support remediation findings for internal and external audits.
  • Help the organization meet evolving audit and compliance expectations while concurrently maturing program capabilities.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, Configuration Management, or a related IT governance or operations role.
  • Entry-level to intermediate knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred.
  • Proven experience with ServiceNow (particularly CMDB, HAM Pro, and SAM Pro modules).
  • Strong understanding of ITAM lifecycle processes (procurement, deployment, inventory, support, disposal).
  • Familiarity with regulatory and audit requirements impacting asset and configuration data management (e.g., FFIEC, SOX, internal controls).
  • Demonstrated experience in translating operational needs into system requirements and enhancements.
  • Experience supporting or participating in audits and control testing.
  • Ability to develop and maintain documentation, reports, and process artifacts.
  • Intermediate communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Occasional travel required.

Preferred:

  • ITIL, CSAM, or HAM/SAM certifications.
  • Experience in a financial services or regulated industry environment.
  • Background supporting change management or organizational adoption efforts.
