About the role

In this opportunity as an Attorney Product Specialist, you will:

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to support product programs and initiatives related to artificial intelligence and legal technology solutions

  • Assist in the testing and validation of generative artificial intelligence technology for legal industry applications designed for legal practitioners in Japan

  • Contribute to understanding our customers' pain points and goals to help articulate value propositions

  • Support the development of advanced use cases for attorneys utilizing the Legal Solutions product and platform

  • Provide feedback on the Legal Solutions product's ongoing performance to our team of engineers and data scientists

  • Assist senior team members in client engagements, supporting the Enterprise client

  • Provide support to other Thomson Reuters divisions and teams on select projects

About you

You're a fit for the role of Product Specialist if you possess these attributes:

Your background should include:

  • Law degree and a license to practice law in Japan required

  • Fluency in both Japanese and English

  • Minimum of 2-3 years practice experience in a law firm or in-house setting (some litigation experience preferred)

  • Computer proficient with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Experience using online legal research and practice tools

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $80,640 - $149,760.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
