Job Description

Benefits:

Salary:

$80,000 - $120,000

Summary:

The Inside Sales Manager sets our broad strategy for the management of our small to mid-size accounts. By partnering with the Regional Team, this position will be responsible for account planning, forecasting, performance management to drive continued growth, coaching, team and process development, and grow sales to meet profit target. Some travel will be required.

Essential Functions:

  • Partner with the Regional Sales Director to develop the inside sales strategy and goals for the regions.
  • Assess and optimize the sales process - develop and implement specialized sales strategies to improve efficiency and expand business to achieve optimum profit level.
  • Build product and market knowledge - understanding market trends, industry news and competition; analyze information to develop smart decisions to tackle the market to meet demands.
  • Identify accounts that could be managed by an Inside Sales Representative and support the transition activities involved in changing the customer support.
  • Provide regional support to team with best practices and training on inside sales practices and processes based on result-driven data.
  • Engage with internal departments to attain company sales goals and ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
  • Support the onsite sales team as a leader in the sales organization.
  • Manage life cycle of direct reports to include hiring, performance management, etc.
  • Participate in training and personal development activities offered by the organization.
  • Ability to mentor and coach new hires or those new to the organization.
Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business or Communications preferred.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of related sales experience.
  • At least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Proficient in MS Office and an ERP or CRM software.
