County Casework Supervisor (Local Government) - Lebanon County C&Y

Lebanon County Children & Youth Services is actively seeking a Casework Supervisor to round out our staff. This is a challenging and very rewarding position. In this role, you will be responsible for the direct supervision and oversight of individual caseworkers within your assigned unit. Work involves meeting with each caseworker to review active placement cases and give guidance, suggestions, direction, instruction, and advice with case planning for ongoing services. This includes providing case management and counseling services, as well as ensuring that all services are being provided to clients. You will also oversee the training and approval of new foster parents, foster home evaluations and re-evaluations, and ensures that foster families meet all state and federal requirements and regulations. Additionally, you will conduct home visits, transport children as needed, visit various facilities, and fulfil any other transportation needs for the people we support.

We will rely on you to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and agency policies and procedure. You will be expected ensure that all required documents and forms are completed accurately and timely while maintaining reports, statistics, data, and summaries to prepare budgets. You will also review and schedule all petitions for court reviews. Work relies on your direct knowledge of laws and regulations which govern child welfare services. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.

Other Requirements:

• This particular position also requires you to possess a valid driver's license which is not under suspension.

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
