Are you a Data Design/Admin seeking a challenging and rewarding position as part of a high functioning infrastructure support team? Our team supports the Linux and Oracle Exa CC infrastructure on which the Majesco (vendor) billing application provides the modernized billing solution for State Farm.

Hybrid Work Locations: Bloomington, IL-Corporate or Richardson, TX-CityLine Hub locations.

Hybrid Work Arrangement: A "Hybrid" position means selected candidates will be assigned to a facility and will spend some time working both in the office and from their home. Work arrangements could change over time based on business need. Hybrid work arrangement for Enterprise Technology is defined as residing within a 180-mile radius of the Hubs and Corporate.

• Work with the vendor to continuously scale, tune, and improve the Oracle Exadata Data Base in conjunction with the vendor application
• Align our current state and future state with Billing and Payments Architecture to future state Data Architecture goals
• Assist the vendor in testing, risk evaluating, monitoring, and validation of Data base performance improvements
• Analyze and provide guidance for performance issues
• Provide maintenance support throughout life of the database
• Build database assets in Exa CC / AWS test and production environments for product teams to leverage (future state)
• Serve as thought leader to help the team make data driven decisions that best align to our longer term objectives
• Work to keep the Exa CC data base in compliance with internal EISP related standards and legal and regulatory requirements

• 3+ years Experience with Exadata, Exa CC, and Oracle Data Base on AWS
• Understanding and hands on experience with Database Management Systems and Tools (SQL)
• Experience with working with or through vendors to achieve outcomes
• Ability to work within a collaborative team and take initiative to learn and work on your own

Because work-life balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week!

Potential starting salary range: $90,000 - $125,000

Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience. High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience

Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
