About the Opportunity

As a key player in Real Estate Advisory, you'll directly shape the territory's financial health and operational strategy. You'll be involved in asset-level financial planning, real estate underwriting (including new sites and lease negotiations), and pricing and revenue optimization strategies. This includes providing analysis and advice for major sales deals and large office pricing.

We're looking for a highly analytical, motivated, and resourceful individual who thrives on diving into data, managing multiple impactful projects with significant autonomy, and collaborating effectively across Sales, Operations, Real Estate, Legal, Development, and central analytics teams. Strong leadership, clear communication, relationship-building skills, sharp problem-solving abilities, and excellent judgment are essential for success in this dynamic role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Planning & Forecasting: Lead and contribute significantly to the development of the annual operating plan, including budgeting and forecasting and the asset and consolidated levels

  • Reporting & Insights: Deliver accurate and timely reporting of financials and KPIs, with minimal oversight. Proactively identify and surface novel insights to support business objectives and drive continuous improvement.

  • Real Estate Analysis & Strategy: Play a key role in new location underwriting, contributing to site selection strategy, financial modeling, and due diligence. Support lease renewal and negotiation processes through robust financial analysis and scenario modeling.

  • Pricing, Revenue Optimization & Deal Advisory: Lead and support revenue optimization initiatives across the territory. Provide financial underwriting, analysis, and advisory for significant sales deals, partnering closely with the Sales team to structure profitable agreements.

  • Advanced Analytics & Business Partnership: Independently conduct comprehensive asset-specific analyses (e.g., asset performance reviews, new asset underwriting, portfolio optimization, pricing strategies) to drive business improvements. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and positively impact the bottom line of individual assets and overall financials. Collaborate effectively across the organization, particularly with our central analytics team based in New York.

  • Leadership & Development: Embody the mission and values of WeWork and model exemplary leadership behaviors. Mentor junior team members and cultivate strong, cooperative working relationships with cross-functional partners.

About You
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related analytical field.

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Real Estate Finance, or equivalent functions. Demonstrated experience in analytically-driven roles (e.g., Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Business Analytics) preferred.

  • Strategic & Analytical Acumen: A strategic thinker with excellent business judgment and a proven ability to define and manage analytical projects, analyze complex data (including asset-level financial and operational data), develop robust financial models, and generate practical, actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Proactive & Results-Oriented: Highly motivated, resourceful, and relentless in pursuing objectives. Capable of independently seeking information, performing ad hoc analyses, solving conceptual problems, mobilizing resources, and delivering high-quality results, even in challenging and ambiguous situations.

  • Problem-Solving & Project Management: An innovative problem-solver with strong interpersonal, multitasking, organizational, and project planning skills. Demonstrates an ability to manage competing priorities and meet aggressive deadlines.

  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to distill complex problems and present recommendations and findings in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner to diverse audiences.

  • Adaptability & Drive: A quick and agile learner who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Combines creativity, critical thinking, and a can-do attitude to overcome obstacles and drive initiatives forward.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data querying and analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, or similar). Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills are essential.

  • Real Estate Expertise: Direct experience in commercial real estate finance, particularly with lease analysis, lease negotiations, development finance, or asset management.
