Schedule-2nd Shift Monday- Thursday 3:00pm- am- 2:30am
Payrate: 20.00 hourly

Job Description:

Highlight/identify core that requires cutting on printed schedule, measure and set-up core to cut to width and length based on chart specifications, must know all core components and door stile/rail construction specs, be able to hold and cut up to 2 core at a time, tape Measure use to 32th of an inch, validate accuracy of core before/after cuts, correct count, and in order of the schedule. Cut back floor report completed daily for inventory adjustments. Regularly occurring tasks: changing saws blades - certified lockout/tag out, use of small hand tools.
Advanced knowledge door configuration specifications (rails/stiles) and correct sizing of core, Skills in reading a tape measure/ calculating fractional math. Apply safety procedures, order tracking process and documents, all sizes and configurations, use of tape measure, set-up and operation of core saw, read instructions list/charts/diagrams.
Read/ interpret production schedule, advanced fractional math calculations and configuring core size according to rail/stile specs, perform visual quality checks, preparation and cleaning of saw and setup machine for use in cutting core.
High degree of accuracy with no supervision. Self-motivated - high output demand.
Manually lift/slide/flip core materials (max. 80 lbs.), bending, lifting, twisting, pushing, pulling. Standing for long continuous hours.
High attention to detail, intense degree of concentration to successfully perform the job.
Effective communication skills and responsive.
Mildly controlled environment - can expect cold and heat during extreme weather conditions. High core dust environment.
