Position Description:
Hybrid - New Jersey, with travel to Newark and throughout the state of NJ to support client events and programming.
The Well-being Program Manager (PM) will work collaboratively with the designated client's health promotion team to raise awareness of the well-being program and the WebMD products and services that enable it. This position will be hybrid, with regular travel to the client's offices in Newark and throughout the state of New Jersey 25-30% of the time.
The PM is responsible for client satisfaction and retention. They will act as a customer advocate, as well as a point of contact with senior client stakeholders to increase participant engagement and maximize value delivered through the WebMD relationship. They will provide thought leadership and support program planning, strategy, and impact assessment and engage in program coordination and promotion duties. They will provide both onsite and remote programming including lunch 'n learns and stop-by tables. The PM will proactively identify opportunities for service delivery enhancement and improvement. As opportunities are identified, they will work with other Client Services team members to improve processes and develop new solutions. The successful candidate will have a background in health promotion, health communications, and/or population health management.
In this role you will:
  • Increase awareness and engagement in client-wide well-being offerings.
  • Assist with the day-to-day delivery of the well-being program.
  • Create and provide support to Well-being Champion Networks, including assisting with site-specific program recommendations and promotions.
  • Establish relationships and buy-in from key stakeholders.
  • Assist with building a culture of health through offering programs at the worksite and supporting the implementation of health policies.
  • Create and conduct educational classes and webinars.
  • Host promotional events to increase engagement in the well-being program, including stop-by tables and interactive events.
  • Collaborate with internal and vendor resources to host combined events and increase engagement.
  • Provide ongoing project management for onsite programs and promotional events.
  • Coordinate the flow of information and materials to individual employer sites.
  • Work closely with internal and client teams to provide ongoing program performance review and strategic support.
  • Track and report on all participant-facing activities (presentations, tabling events, workshops).
  • Support WebMD Health Services product and service line expansion.
  • Assist the client and internal account team with other tasks as needed.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • BA/BS required, MPH is a differentiator.
  • Minimum of 5 years' Wellness Coordinating, or similar client-facing experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple relationships with multiple client stakeholders in a dynamic and stressful environment.
  • Experience creating and managing Wellness Champion Networks.
  • Professional presence and technical credibility to interact with senior-level customer contacts.
  • Strong program planning skills.
  • Strong content creation and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Canva, and the Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Access to reliable transportation is required.
Preferred:
  • Experience working with state or local government.
  • Experience interacting with both desk workers and shift workers.
  • Professional Certification from National Wellness Institute (NWI), The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC), or the equivalent certification.
