What We DoParticipates in the day-to-day operations, processes, and workflows of the Cloud Security team. Takes ownership of projects and initiatives within the Cloud Security team. Identifies improvements to detective controls, automation opportunities, and creates solutions for preventative controls for Cloud Security environments. Participates in the development of documentation.

How You'll Contribute

  • Perform daily operational duties around Cloud Security including: reviewing alerts, performing evaluations of configuration exception requests, and working with application and platform teams to remediate public cloud Vulnerabilities
  • Work with technical leads to evaluate any new products or technology products
  • Regularly interacts with management and peers in other departments for purposes of gaining cooperation, exchanging technical information, and presenting project plans and reports.
  • Build a trusted advisory relationship with strategic customers across the business
  • Work with customers, stakeholders, product managers, and product owners to understand and maintain a high-level understanding of the current and upcoming requirements.
  • Standardize operational and process documentation for operations and changes to Cloud Security tooling
  • Provide leadership by instructing, mentoring, and training team members within and outside the work group.
  • Work with technical leaders to advise management on technical matters requiring coordination between organizations.
  • Identify and deliver additional detective and preventative control implementation opportunities

What You'll Bring

Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Can be substituted with work experience.
  • Relevant certifications such as the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), AWS Certified Security Specialty (preferred), or related work experience.
  • 3-5 years of working experience as a Cloud Security generalist, offering guidance on security domains including IAM, Vulnerability and Configuration Management, Data Encryption, as well as others
  • 2-3 Years of Experience working with AWS
  • Experience operating CNAPP tooling, including triaging alerts and defining policy sets for Public Cloud Services
  • Experience generating and providing compliance reports for leadership on control metrics
  • Experience working with distributed team.
  • Deep understanding of and experience with cloud security concepts including technology, best practices, design, deployment, and operations.
  • Deep understanding of and experience with public cloud security in a hybrid cloud environment.
  • Successful track record of designing, developing, and managing the execution of projects in the cloud and/or security space.
  • Ability to develop and implement processes to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within and between departments.
  • Deals with others in an honest manner, assures adherence to company policies, addresses questionable business practices.
  • Provides others with reliable information, creates, and delivers accurate reports and presentations. Uses good listening skills. Negotiates effectively.

Salary Range: $109,700.00 - $146,200.00

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
