About Corewell Health Trenton Hospital

Corewell Health Hospital Trenton is a 193-bed acute care teaching hospital that sponsors nine university-affiliated residency programs. The hospital opened its doors to Trenton and its surrounding communities in 1961. It became part of Corewell Health in September 2014. In addition to providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for its patients, the hospital offers all private beds, a medical and surgical intensive care unit and obstetrical care.

Scope of Work

Responsible for the technical component of Non-Invasive Cardiology procedures. Technical staff works with clinical nurse in the cardiac stress testing labs. Technical staff uses specific age and cultural related physical, intellectual, psychosocial and developmental attributes in interactions with patients/families and hospital staff. Team effort required for QA/QI endeavors, customer satisfaction improvement.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Certified Cardiovascular Technician or BS in Exercise Science (or degree in related health field) or 3-5 years previous stress testing experience. Preferred: Previous experience in EKG and Cardiac Stress Testing, familiarity with EKG interpretation.
  • Current BLS required.
