Job Family Description

Administrative and business services professionals provide various office and location support activities. They identify, enhance, and follow specific processes and procedures to maximize the efficiencies of the business to which the support is being provided, and ensure the correct functioning of facilities, office and/or business support services.

Discipline Description

Business services managers oversee critical business support functions, such as finance, procurement, contracts, and project controls. They lead cross-functional teams to optimize business processes, drive efficiency, and maintain compliance with DOE directives, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and company policies. They collaborate with senior management, executive leadership, operational teams, and customer stakeholders to provide strategic guidance on budgeting, workforce planning, supply chain management, and enterprise systems. They are responsible for performance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business operations and support mission success. Additionally, they foster a culture of accountability and innovation, ensuring business services effectively enable safe, secure, and efficient operations.

Some Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include:

1. In conjunction with the Business Services Director, directs daily activities of SRPPF Business Services organization and has responsibility for successful operation of that functional area.
2. Implement long term business strategies that contribute to success of the company.
3. Collaborates with SRPPF project counterparts from SRNS and subcontract leadership teams to address emergent issues.
4. Acts on behalf of immediate manager in their absence.
5. Establishes effective mentoring process for subordinates to support professional development.
6. Engages with site senior staff (EVPs, SVPs, VPs) on SRPPF business services issues.
7. Identifies potential areas of business risk and recommends mitigation strategies.
8. Conduct comprehensive oversight of business services functions performed by SRPPF Construction Management subcontractors.

Required Qualifications

* Twelve or more YOE as an individual contributor in one or more of the roles managed plus three or more years of experience (YOE) in a relevant management role, OR Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field plus eight or more years of experience (YOE) in one or more of the roles managed, OR Master's Degree in a relevant field plus five or more years of experience (YOE) in one or more of the roles managed
* Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered

Security Clearance Information

SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance.
