What You'll Do Supervise the work of at least two full-time employees by determining work procedures, preparing schedules, expediting the workflow, assigning duties and examining work. Monitor and evaluate employee job performance and conduct performance appraisals. Recruit and train shop employees. Supervise vehicle inspection to ensure that work is satisfactorily completed. Communicate, discuss and resolve reconditioning goals, results and problems with the Operations Manager. Lead by example, champion Cox/Manheim values and ensure that all employees are treated with respect. Monitor and control the use of supplies, materials and equipment for the recon shop and purchase equipment and supplies as necessary. Monitor and aide in ensuring established guidelines for a safe work environment. Use feedback to improve customer service. Here are a few more things you'll need: Minimum: 7+ years of vehicle repair experience (vehicle reconditioning, detailing, mechanical and/or body shop experience) Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required. Excellent people, teamwork and customer service skills. Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission. Ability to stand, walk, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb. Ability to lift 1-30 pounds. Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent. USD 21.49 - 32.26 per hour Compensation: Hourly base pay rate is $21.49 - $32.26/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program. Benefits: Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
