General Summary:
Essential Duties: * Full cycle recruitment and onboarding for production hourly positions. * Administer performance review program and development plans. * Manage hourly payroll process, which includes time and attendance review, processing payroll inputs such as pay changes, direct deposit information, etc., approval of payroll registers, administrative maintenance and resolving pay issues. * Provide policy and procedure guidance to associates and management. * Address associate concerns and conflicts in the workplace and refer complex and/or sensitive matters to the HR Manager or other appropriate staff. * Assist as needed with associate disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. * Benefit administration, including open enrollment. * Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of associate retention and engagement programs. Ensure required trainings are conducted and maintain documentation, as well as administration of the Learning Management System (LMS). * Coordinate associate engagement events, such as anniversary celebrations, associate recognition, etc. * Assist with reporting and managing worker's compensation. * Assist and support plant safety efforts. * Administrative tasks including, but not limited to, filing, employment verifications, unemployment responses, HRIS & hard copy file maintenance, employee communications, associate badges, etc. * Other duties as assigned by manager. Education/Certification Requirements: * Associates degree or higher preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Experience Requirements: * Minimum 3 years in a Human Resources role, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Skill Requirements: * Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures. * Knowledge of employment/labor laws. * Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word. * Intermediate to advanced skills using HR software - experience with UKG (formerly Kronos) a plus. * Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent conflict management skills and an aptitude for problem-solving. * Meticulous attention to detail and well organized. Physical Requirements: This is primarily an office role, requiring use of typical office equipment such as a computer, copy machine, laptop and cell phone. May be required to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally. Supervision Over the Following Roles: * None. Work Schedule/Attendance /Overtime/Travel Requirements: * Minimum 40 hours per week. Additional time as workload demands and off schedule work for occasional events. * Occasional travel to Sharon Center location, as well as to local and regional job fairs or other events. #FLAMBEAUHIGH |
