At Air Products, our purpose is to bring people together to reimagine what's possible, collaborate and innovate solutions to the world's most significant energy and environmental sustainability challenges. Grow with us as we embark on building tomorrow together by being the safest, most diverse and most profitable industrial gas company in the world.

Reimagine What's Possible

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious Operations Technician to join our operations team at the HyCO4 facility in LaPorte, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for controlling and monitoring the processes to produce hydrogen (e.g., steam system, compressors, rotating equipment, and DCS operation), performing equipment inspections and minor maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to following safety protocols.

HyCO4 is a new facility anticipated to be online in mid-2025. It is an expansion and partner facility to the existing HyCO3 plant which has been in operation since 1996. The La Porte HyCO4 facility will be the newest production plant in our Gulf Coast Hydrogen pipeline network and a key expansion for our Houston Area Carbon Monoxide system. The HyCO4 facility incorporates many of the newest and most cutting-edge technologies anywhere in the world to create sustainable, low-carbon hydrogen while also capturing and commercializing Carbon Monoxide, rather than emitting Carbon Dioxide to the atmosphere. The HyCO4 plant is a step into the future for Air Products, the industrial gas industry, and a sustainable energy future for America.

This role is a safety sensitive position.
