Job Summary

HR Business partner supporting employees at the Bridgeton Production Facility and Edwardsville Distribution Center. Responsible for the development, implementation, administration, training, tracking and communication of all human resources policies and programs including performance management, talent management, employee relations and HR-related compliance.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Employee Relations: Investigate employee issues and Code of Conduct violations; recommend resolutions and ensure proper documentation. Provide guidance to managers on employment law, ensuring compliant and respectful investigations.

Employment: Support recruitment, onboarding, internship programs, and related systems (e.g., ATS). Conduct candidate searches and coordinate with staffing firms.

Organization Design & Development: Assist with performance management, succession planning, and org design. Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business needs. Analyze HR data (e.g., turnover, surveys) to improve programs.

Employee Counseling & Management: Provide coaching to employees and managers on performance, career growth, and workplace concerns. Manage confidential employee relations cases, conduct interviews, and support disciplinary processes.

Engagement:Lead site engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and communication efforts to enhance culture and morale.

Policies & Procedures: Help develop, update, and communicate HR policies to ensure compliance with employment laws and clarity across the organization.

Compensation: Partner with Compensation to recommend pay adjustments for new hires, promotions, and role changes. Oversee merit planning for factory workers.

HR Projects: Support Talent Management initiatives, including training, career development, and succession planning. Contribute to high-impact and confidential projects, such as organizational redesign and process improvements.

Payroll: Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in collaboration with the corporate payroll team.

Education and Experience Profile

An equivalent combination of:



  • Bachelor's degree desired (preferably in Human Resources) or equivalent work experience in Human Resources
  • 3-5 years of prior Human Resource generalist work experience
  • SHRM certification preferred

Required Skills

  • Spanish language proficiency preferred
  • Must maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong knowledge of human resource-related issues; understanding and ability to interpret and apply Federal and State employment laws.
  • Ability to handle conflict and perform comfortably in changing, fast paced environment
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Technology proficient to include HRIS systems familiarity (intermediate or advanced).
  • Consistent in performance and practices ethical, professional behavior at all times.
  • Works well independently yet is cooperative in working with team members.
  • This position directly communicates with site leadership on a daily basis regarding HR related issues; must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of employees within the organization.
  • The position requires an understanding of each department's makeup, understanding of each department's roles and initiatives/culture.
  • Understands the importance of fostering an open and respectful work environment.

Work Environment

Site-based role in a manufacturing environment. Must be comfortable spending time on the production floor and engaging across multiple shifts. Travel less than 10% across US.
