Job Description

Our team in Pensacola, FL has an immediate need for a Windows System Administrator with demonstrated experience conducting Windows maintenance and administration tasks on a complex enterprise-scale network. Primary responsibilities include:



  • Provide expert-level administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting for awide range of Windows Server technologies, including Active Directory, GroupPolicy, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Microsoft IdentityManager (MIM), SQL Server, and VMware vSphere
  • Manage and maintain security compliance through STIG implementation,vulnerability remediation (ACAS/NESSUS), and adherence to security bestpractices
  • Serve as a technical lead and escalation point for complex issues, providingtraining, guidance and support to Mid and Junior team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ships' personnel, C4STechnicians, vendors, and DISA representatives, to implement and maintainsolutions
  • Configure and optimize infrastructure components, including Dell Unitystorage, SolarWinds monitoring, and Active Directory Federation Services(ADFS)
  • Proactively identify and resolve system performance issues, ensuring highavailability and optimal performance of critical systems
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation, standardoperating procedures, and system monitoring tools
  • Participate in the RMF process by reviewing POA&M items and providingtechnical input
  • Contribute to team deliverables, including SSL Certification ExpirationTracker, MECM Patching Tracker, and MNOC Daily Repor

Job Requirements

* Must possess current IAT II or higher security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M

* Must be able to get appropriate Computing Environment certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01M within 6 months of hire

* Must have 8 or more years of progressive Windows and VMWare administration experience in an enterprise-scale environment

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work off-hours in the event of system outage or surge support
  • This is NOT a remote or WFH position
