Milwaukee Public Schools seeks an exceptional Instructional Coach: English Learner Family Engagement candidate who is highly qualified and knowledgeable to join our community of teachers, learners, and leaders. The English Learner (EL) Family Engagement Instructional Coach is a non-evaluative, non-supervisory teacher position that will work at the district level to support district and school staff in their understanding of EL family and community needs. EL Instructional Coaches will collaborate closely with the Family and Community Engagement Specialist, Family and Community Engagement Associates, departmental team members, as well as district and school-level personnel to support strong outcomes for ELs. This position implements the Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) Family Engagement Framework in accordance with best practices for ELs, their family, and community so that MPS staff and families have what they need to be equal partners in student achievement and school improvement. The position works to initiate, align, and coordinate family and community partnerships with Parent Coordinators, educators, and other staff to meet the needs of students, families, and schools as outlined in policies, procedures, and resolutions. This position is on the 2F - 200-day calendar. Salary Range: $55,317.33 - $103,599.82. Placement on the salary schedule is based on years of fully licensed teaching/pupil services experience in a K-12 setting and education beyond a bachelor's degree. Equal Employment Opportunity
