DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will oversee the maintenance and monitoring of the plant maintenance database, evaluate production output for operational assessments, and ensure that inventory controls are established and regularly verified through field reviews. You will also guide the purchasing team while assisting the County Maintenance Manager and Assistant Maintenance Managers in developing the Annual Work Plan (AWP) concerning manpower, budget, rental equipment, and materials. Tracking the AWP throughout the fiscal year using business warehouse reports to ensure adherence to the plan and compliance with the county maintenance measurement tool (CMMT) standards is essential. Additionally, you will collaborate with the County Maintenance Manager to develop and monitor the budget, ensuring sufficient funds are available for all county operations through business warehouse reports. Your responsibilities will include creating notifications and work orders in SAP, monitoring these orders at the fiscal year-end to close current orders and initiate new ones, and ensuring that goods are charged to the correct work orders. You will also address any necessary corrections promptly, review the ESS universal work list to resolve invoicing issues, and process approved shopping carts. Furthermore, you will estimate the quantities of materials and time required to maintain uninterrupted county operations, which encompasses bidding for rental equipment and ordering essential materials such as bituminous, aggregates, and winter supplies. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Hours may vary with operational needs and/or weather conditions
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Ebensburg.
- This position may be eligible for alternate work schedule (AWS)
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Roadway Programs Specialist or Roadway Programs Technician Supervisor (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);or
- Three years of experience in the analysis, development, and implementation of methods and techniques used in a roadway maintenance management system; and an associate's degree in a field of business administration, computer science, highway engineering technology or closely related program; or
- One year of experience in the analysis, development, and implementation of methods and techniques used in a roadway maintenance management system; and a bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or civil engineering related discipline; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
