A Brief Overview

The AVP of Client Pricing develops, communicates, and executes a strategic direction that is consistent with the company's vision and mission. This role focuses on building strategy for today's pricing model and the pricing model of our future. It leads the pricing team in implementing and executing new pricing, negotiating, and reporting processes. It supports the sales team in storytelling with respect to our pricing advantages and premium services. This person also works with the marketing team to create a holistic story for the sales team, marrying pricing and value proposition narratives and communication.

What you will do

  • Design and implement innovative pricing strategies that balance profitability and customer value.
  • Collaborate across product, commercial, sales, and finance to align pricing with business goals.
  • Use analytics and market insights to inform pricing decisions and track effectiveness.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and regulatory shifts.
  • Present pricing insights and recommendations to senior leadership using compelling storytelling.
  • Lead and develop a team of pricing professionals, fostering growth and succession planning.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field (required); MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including 1-3 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in pricing models (dynamic, cost-plus, value-based) and financial principles.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in pricing tools and Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
