Responsibilities

The objective of this role is to make professional, accurate, cost-effective travel arrangements for UPS travelers within Altour and UPS guidelines and standards.

    Must be able to work holidays and weekends as needed.
  • Must be able to work OT hours as needed
  • Travel arrangements with company-authorized air vendors.
  • Stay current with all airline rules and regulations, tariffs and other industry requirements and accurately apply this information when making travel arrangements.
  • Project a favorable image of Altour to all travelers, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Follow UPS guidelines and procedures.
  • Follow Altour procedures and guidelines and standards in the areas of customer service, building PNR's, ticketing, attendance, accuracy of work, invoicing, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Special project or other duties if required as requested by management


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Worldspan experience is required.
  • Must be able to make sound judgment and good oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of geography and basic computer and office skills such as typing, use of fax machine, and phone system.
  • Must be organized and able meet strict deadlines.
  • Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality is required.
  • Job requires employee to preform basic arithmetic accurately and compute rates and percentages.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally (verbally and in writing) as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends as needed.
  • Must be able to work OT hours as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/ or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
  • Job requires employee to sit for extended periods of time without being able to leave the work area.
  • Repetitive motion, substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/ or fingers.
  • Typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers.
  • Must be able to comprehend instructions, interpret documents, and apply abstract principles to a wide range of complex tasks.
  • Ability to understand the meanings of words and effectively respond, analyze information, and write reports, and comprehend complex issues and communicate effectively to diverse groups.

Pay and Benefits

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas. Many factors, such as years of experience, geographical location, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. The salary range posted represents the pay range for U.S. candidates. This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company's financial goal achievement and individual performance.
