Responsibilities

The Director, I.C. Recruitment is a pivotal role responsible for driving I.C. recruiting and fostering strong relationships within the Global Travel Collection (GTC). This role involves identifying and closing new potential independent advisors from a defined territory and providing competitive intelligence in the marketplace to increase sales. The Director will work closely with the SVP of Strategic Growth and other cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and deliver successful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

    Sales and Business Development: Drive business growth by identifying and closing new GTC Independent Contractors and Associate Branches within a defined territory/vertical.
  • Pipeline Development and Recruitment: Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential independent advisors and branches. Recruit, engage, and close independent advisors into the Global Travel Collection (GTC).
  • Qualifying and Closing Large Revenue Advisors: Qualify large revenue independent advisors, help them envision themselves as part of GTC, and close the deal.
  • Trust Development: Develop and nurture the trust of partners, advisors, and branches to ensure long-term successful relationships.
  • Project Execution: Support the execution of key projects within Global Travel Collection, ensuring alignment with business objectives and successful delivery.
  • Client Relationship Management: Manage day-to-day relationships with external contracted partners, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and business profitability.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business objectives, including identifying opportunities for growth and creating project plans and teams to achieve success.
  • Performance Measurement: Monitor and report on key performance indicators and department goals to ensure business objectives are met.


Qualifications

Experience:

  • 7-10 years' experience in the travel industry.
  • Proven ability to interface with multiple divisions to create meaningful internal and external partnerships.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development, with experience in closing large deals and managing client relationships.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present material to groups of various sizes and craft compelling written and oral communication pieces for internal and external clients and staff.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel), including the ability to complete simple analysis and build/utilize simple spreadsheets and Word documents.
  • Strong strategic planning, project management skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Leadership Abilities:

  • Demonstrates high-level decision-making skills, being solutions-oriented, proactively anticipating potential issues and problems, and taking steps to mitigate them.
  • Demonstrates strong change management skills, the ability to formulate strategy and demonstrates conflict resolution skills.
  • Thinks creatively to find the best and most appropriate solutions to difficult problems.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to identify needs, assemble strong teams, identify key metrics, and organize plans to drive success.
  • Demonstrates strong conflict resolution skills.
