Position Highlights |
The primary purpose of the position is to improve student experience. Under the Primary Instructor and/or Master Facilitator III, Facilitator IIs will support faculty members teaching online courses by responding to student questions in a timely manner, grading assignments, holding virtual office hours and monitoring discussion boards. The position is expected to average approximately 10 hours per week when a facilitator is assigned to support a course, but hours are expected to vary week to week.

Duties & Responsibilities |
Course and Student Support:
- Grade assignments and enter grades into D2L.
- Monitor discussion boards and respond to student comments.
- Respond to student inquiries about course content and/or using D2L, the University's learning management system software.
- Hold regularly scheduled office hours in a virtual environment.

Minimum Qualifications |
- Master's degree or higher required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report |
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
