Agile Coach and Trainer

LinTech Global Inc. is recruiting an Agile Coach and Trainer (Program Analyst)

to support our contract at the IRS/CI in Fairfax, Virginia.

Location: Remote

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach and Trainer to support our program at IRS CI Tech Ops comprising of multiple sub-tasks, each with dedicated teams and distinct scope. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding Agile adoption, driving continuous improvement, and providing hands-on training and coaching to teams, Scrum Masters, Architects, Product Owners, and leadership across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Coach cross functional Agile teams on Agile frameworks (ex., Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and best practices.
  • Design and deliver tailored Agile training programs and workshops for team members and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams leads and Product Owners to ensure effective backlog refinement, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.
  • Provide mentorship to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members on Agile roles and responsibilities.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies when needed and support teams in removing impediments to delivery.
  • Assess agile maturity across teams and implement actionable coaching strategies to drive improvements.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and feedback across the program.
  • Support alignment across sub-tasks, helping to coordinate PI Planning and other SAFe events.
  • Advise leadership on Agile transformation strategy, metrics, and scaling practices suitable for Federal environments.


Qualifications:



  • 7 + years of experience in Agile coaching, training, and facilitation.
  • Proven experience supporting large-scale Agile programs, ideally within Federal government contracts.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
  • Experience leading Agile transformations across multi-teams' programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and lead teams at all levels.
  • Required certification SAFe Program Consultant (SPC).
  • Prior experience with Agile tools such as JIRA is required.
  • Experience in Federal IT delivery environments with compliance and governance constraints required.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps principles and their integration with Agile practices.
