The Lindner College of Business Undergraduate Programs Office (UPO) is searching for an academic advisor to work as part of an innovative team and empower future business problem solvers. Candidates will advise current and prospective students about how to meet their educational, professional, and personal goals. Flexibility is key, as there are many facets that encompass the responsibilities of this role. The UPO is responsible for providing all undergraduate academic advising services for Lindner students. Advising is offered through individual and group academic advising appointments, orientations, and workshops. Job Overview
The Undergraduate Programs Office is searching for an Academic Advisors/Sr. Academic Advisor. Final title and compensation will be based on qualifications of applicant. In this role you will advise current and prospective students about how to meet their educational, professional, and personal goals. For a Sr. Academic Advisor role, candidates may be responsible for providing leadership for one or more student programs or services within a unit. This position will have the option of a hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office/2 days work from home) for those with a residence within OH/IN/KY following 90 days of training. Residence must be in the tri-state area within reasonable distance to UC Main Campus to have ability to report to campus as required. Remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies. Essential Functions
Sr. Academic Advisor/ Academic Advisor: Sr. Academic Advisor: May lead a programmatic area of oversight and planning for a student success program or function within a unit. Conceptualize, develop, implement, and evaluate the program. Minimum Requirements
SR Academic Advisor Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Required Trainings/Certifications: N/A Required Experience:Three (3) years of academic advising and/or student success experience. Academic Advisor Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Required Trainings/Certifications: N/A Required Experience: Zero (0) to one (1) year of student services or related experience.
