Tyler Union, a division of McWane, Inc., is the nation's leading manufacturer of Ductile Iron Waterworks Fittings and Appurtenances has an immediate opening for a Quotations Agent. TylerUnion's main manufacturing facility is located in Anniston, AL.

The primary focus of this position is to assist Territory Managers and Inside Sales Representatives by providing customer quotations that result in profitable sales revenue. The Quotations Agent will support the overall sales strategy through efficient and timely responses to internal and external customers by preparing and submitting quotes to customers. Desire and ability to provide superior customer service is imperative.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Receive customer requests for quotation and communicate with the Sales Department to generate a quotation.
• Prepare cost and price estimates for materials using a variety of criteria, such as inventory availability, competitive position, price validity and other logistical considerations, including calculation of price escalations when necessary.
• Correlate all cost information within the time frame of bid date and time needed by customers and Sales team.
• Build and maintain pricing measurements for decision making processes.
• Job tracking, including maintenance of job win/loss record.
• Thorough knowledge of our product offerings as well as those of other manufacturers
• Communicate with other managers in regard to processes and pricing.
• Always represent the company in a professional manner in daily interaction with customer base.
• Performs various other miscellaneous sales and service-related duties as directed by management.

• Previous Customer Service or Quotations experience ideal.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of the manufacturer/distributor supply chain process desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to understand and work with formulas and formats submitted by customer.
• Familiarity with Microsoft D365 a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM a plus.
