Employment Status: Full Time Seasonal Wage Range: $20.00 to $23.00 DOE Minimum Age: 18 Background Check Required: No Driver Verification Required: No Position Summary: The Lift Maintenance Technician Apprentice assists certified technicians in the safe and efficient maintenance, repair, and inspection of all aerial and surface lifts, including associated equipment and systems, at the ski resort. This entry-level position is designed to provide comprehensive on-the-job training and foundational knowledge necessary to progress towards becoming a certified Lift Maintenance Technician. The Apprentice will learn and apply principles of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and structural maintenance under direct supervision, adhering strictly to manufacturer specifications, industry standards (e.g., ANSI B77.1), and company safety policies. Specific Job Skills: License/Certifications - Driver's license preferred. Technical - Mechanical aptitude, Technical Training, and or Lift operations experience. Physical Capabilities - This job requires repetitive lifting of fifty pounds or more, working outside in extreme weather conditions, sitting or standing for long periods of time, repetitive motions, bending, Squatting, kneeling, twisting, working above your shoulder level, and the ability to safely climb ladders and structures in excess of 50 feet. Additional - Entry level position/ some tools required. Education/Related Experience: Minimum education required -High School diploma, or GED equivalent Minimum time in related position - Entry Level Equipment and Safety/Protective Equipment Used: You will be required to provide some of your own tools. |
