NEXT Electric, LLC seeking full-time Material Handler-Driver in New Berlin, Wisconsin. Job Summary
- Schedules and makes pickups and deliveries in a timely manner, utilizing trucks with or without trailers within the Company's normal base of operations
- Records distribution of materials moving in and out of shop per company policies and procedures
- Checks, cleans, and inspects all tools and equipment prior to disbursing and upon receipt of returns
- Ensures all paperwork is completed timely/correctly and recorded per company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, material transfer sheets, returns, shipping documents and packing slips, vehicle maintenance and delivery records
- Keeps shop clean and organized daily
- Operates, maintains, and repairs basic warehouse equipment/tools and obtains operation certifications as required for heavy material equipment such as forklifts
- Responsible for quality control - ensures no damaged product or material is accepted or sent out
- Assists in pre-fab shop including: reading and understanding prefabrication prints, assembling and testing components, and simple conduit bending and assembly
- Complies with all company/customer safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- 1 or more years warehouse and delivery experience
- HS Diploma or GED
- Valid Wisconsin Drivers License
- Proficient skills in use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)
- Ability to pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks per company safety policy
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) DOT physical exam
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and drug-test as may be required per federal or client contract, or DOT policy.
