Position Description

ENSCO Inc is a diverse engineering and technology company that provides engineering, science and advanced technology solutions that guarantee mission success, safety, and security to governments and private industries worldwide.

We are seeking an experienced Staff Electrical Engineer to support the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL)/Integrated Experiments and Evaluation Division (RVE) to provide support in cradle to grave efforts. Responsibilities include:



  • Support modeling and simulation tasks, including:
  • Development of modeling capabilities to simulate, emulate and evaluate technology options identified by RVE.
  • Testing and operation of modeling and simulation capabilities.
  • Analyses identifying requirement shortfalls, missing functionality, and model improvements.
  • Support Hardware/Software-in-the-Loop and Cloud Computing Architecture development and administration tasks.
  • Support assembly and integration tasks, including:
  • Space technology assembly and integration support.
  • Spacecraft bus, payload, and experiment assembly and integration within government facilities.
  • Support in the development of government flight experiment and space technology requirements, mission scope, design tradeoffs/alternatives, concepts of operation, mission constraints, conceptual designs, and mission analyses.


Qualifications Required:



  • 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering for innovative solutions in the defense industry
  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, including integration of electrical systems with other subsystems (e.g., mechanical, software, avionics).
  • Proficient in the use of electrical engineering design tools (e.g., CAD software, circuit simulation tools) and analysis tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters).
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD standards and other relevant military specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • AN ACTIVE DOD TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE with SCI ELIGIBILITY IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION FOR WHICH, YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN


Qualifications Desired:



  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), Information Technology, computer science or similar from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Experience working with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and electrical modeling software.

Salary Range
$108,825.60 $155,542.40 USD
