Position Title:

Engineering Manager (Configuration and Management Program)

Location: Washington, DC.

Position Summary: Manages all engineering and configuration activities for this effort. Implements and maintains overall engineering and configuration management objectives and initiatives. Confronts and solves performance/operational issues to improve efficiency. Leads and develops the engineering and configuration management team. Oversees a robust project management process and delivery timelines to keep projects on schedule and on budget. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.

Required Qualifications:

1. Top Secret Clearance
2. Experience managing a dispersed workforce in support of a diverse set of systems, networks, and capabilities similar to the engineering and configuration management requirements of this effort
3. Familiarity with ISO 9000:2015

Experience:

1. Five (5) years of engineering and configuration experience with DoD efforts
2. Three (3) years of managerial experience with DoD efforts

Education:

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM), or a related field
• Desired: Advanced degree in STEM/related field or management/related field.
