Job Description

Functional Summary

As part of LAC Marketing Services, this team is responsible for driving strategic focus, operational excellence, and performance visibility. We ensure the organization runs efficiently, scales effectively, and stays aligned with its priorities through smart planning, strong processes, and actionable insights.

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Associate Analyst to own reporting, scorecard development, and performance insights across Latin America and the Caribbean. This role is critical in enabling our organization to measure impact, optimize operations, and make data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will transform business data into actionable insights that fuel growth for Visa and our clients.

The position location is Miami, FL. Given the regional nature of the role, flexibility to accommodate meetings across many time zones is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and evolution of the Marketing Services Scorecard to track performance across teams, markets, and strategic priorities, ensuring alignment with KPIs.
  • Own and improve dashboards and reporting suites, including monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports, to track business health metrics and highlight key trends, outliers, and opportunities.
  • Partner with regional and functional teams to understand business needs and ensure the delivery of tailored data insights and dashboards.
  • Support the tracking, reporting, and management of OKRs for LAC Marketing Services.
  • Clean, organize, and structure large data sets from various sources.
  • Support business reviews and strategic meetings, such as QBRs and MBRs, with executive-ready visual data summaries and story-driven insights.
  • Translate data into business insights by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that inform strategic planning.

    Seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented candidate with a strong background in data analytics and visualization, and preferably some finance knowledge. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to transform complex data sets into actionable insights and executive-ready visual summaries that drive strategic decision-making. The candidate should have a highly collaborative mindset, as this role is cross-functional. Experience in tracking and managing KPIs and OKRs is essential to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate the ability to lead the development and evolution of performance scorecards and facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with comprehensive data analyses. Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to improving reporting processes are crucial to respond effectively to evolving business demands. This role is critical for supporting the strategic initiatives of our LAC Marketing Services, and we are looking for a candidate who is both technically proficient and strategically minded

    This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications

    • Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree
    • Fluency in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a strong plus

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 2 or more years of work experience
    • 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, marketing analytics, or related fields
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, or a related discipline

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive insights from complex data
    • Experience with scorecard frameworks and strategic KPI alignment
    • Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, and advanced Excel spreadsheet skills
    • Knowledge of SQL and comfort working with large, complex data sets
    • Experience in financial services, payments, or consulting environments
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of translating data into business language
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders across time zones

    Additional Information

    Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

    Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

    Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

    U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 70,600.00 to 99,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
