Document coordinators work in a team that consists of project managers, engineers and designers. They are responsible for managing documents for a multitude of different complexities. These documents are produced by the engineering team and the document coordinator will manage the release of these documents as official submittals to customers and managing the document returns.

  • Technical aptitude
  • Capability to multitask/time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail, and a high degree of focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office products Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to independently initiate and complete tasks with timely results.
  • Capable of working both independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Dedicated to meet short deadlines and manage multiple requests simultaneously with a high degree of ownership for timely and accurate completion.
  • Will be interacting with personnel in all organizations of the business and will be required to visit the manufacturing portion of the facility on a regular basis.

Preferred

  • Strong computer skills including extensive experience using OneDrive, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat or Equivalent
  • PLM and ERP systems, i.e. Teamcenter, SAP, and JDE Siemens
  • Experience working in an engineering office
  • Experience working in a facility with a manufacturing shop
  • Experience with rotating equipment, preferably compressors or pumps
  • Ability to understand and describe technical documentation
  • Experience in continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree
  • 8-12 years' experience in a similar position.
