DaVita is currently seeking a Sr Director, People Services who is responsible for creating and championing the People strategy for field teams including the People Services (PS) team that supports these leaders. They represent the voice of the field and the PS field team in all projects and key initiatives to drive the People strategy forward in a way that seamlessly aligns with the business.

People Services strives to provide exceptional human resources solutions to DaVita's dynamic business leaders. You'll be a champion of DaVita's culture and values, partnering with our business leaders to help them build their organizations and make sure all people decisions are based on data. Whether coaching our clients on how to lead their teams, leading talent review discussions or managing programs that help develop our teammates, you are exceptionally focused on putting them first, and being as clear and transparent as possible to help teammates understand how people decisions get made.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champions needs of field in developing our People strategy with PS COE, field and other key Atlas partners
  • Drives consistent and standard application of our core PS tools in service of creating better outcomes (Y1 outlier approach, RISE, Clinical Ladders, etc.)
  • Establishes process and accountability for field talent review / development pipeline / career pathing
  • Works directly with Palmers (and PSDs as appropriate) on key people issues / questions
  • Represents field PS and field needs in key projects / committees (whether they do so directly or work through other PSDs to make this happen); also ATC of people-related items
  • Leads field PS team: Hire, onboard, develop our PSDs; career pathing and development for PSDs/PSMs; ensure sense of team is built across field PS ops lane
  • Other duties as assigned.

For this role, we are seeking:

Active Leadership - Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategies and execution. Provide insightful data to influence decision making and provide proactive solutions. Aligning our operational goals to our human capital strategy, through growth and development of our teammates, and being a thought partner to our Senior Executive Leadership Team.

Strategic Planning - Consult and collaborate with DaVita's leaders to create a comprehensive people plan to influence lasting change over large functions at DaVita. This role builds and reviews complex analyses to assess impact on business metrics.

Talent Management - Provide expertise in the following areas: career planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, compensation and rewards, employee relations, learning and development, recognition programs, and strategic development. Leveraging hypotheses-based approaches to identify, validate, and quantify opportunities across the full talent life cycle (e.g., performance management, development, succession planning).

People Consultant - Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue, no matter how complex, and design and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines, even those beyond people and organizational solutions. Successfully manages relationships with senior business leaders and influences diverse groups of stakeholders through effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.

This role require you to think big, use data to guide your work, be comfortable challenging convention, and in some cases reinvent how work is done. You'll partner with a cross-functional group of subject-matter experts to design and execute your strategy for how we staff, onboard, develop, motivate, retain and organize work. As part of our culture, you'll also have the opportunity to be hands-on, working side by side with Village leaders to get things done on a variety of People-related areas. As a core part of this hands-on work, you will be rolling out programs to support Village-wide initiatives - including compensation, performance and talent programs.

Additional Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree required, MA/MS/MBA degree preferred
  • 10 years or more of HR or relevant HR Business Partner experience
  • Great at influencing throughstrongrelationships, expertise and data. Ability to manage a complex set of stakeholders.
  • Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done and the next moment being part of deeply complex strategy discussions.
  • Flexibility to travel 25- 35%.
  • Great communication skills and understand how to communicate large, complex change.
  • Stronganalytical and problem solving skills. Ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.
