The Sales Director is primarily responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets by building strong relationships with key customers, analyzing market trends, identifying new business opportunities, and leading a sales team to effectively sell EPS products across our strategic Market Segments; this includes setting sales goals, monitoring pricing and performance, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals, adapting strategies to emerging market changes and establishing the strategic vision of sales effectiveness for the EPS Division. This role will require cross-functional collaboration with Business Leadership, Finance, Marketing, Technical, Customer Service, Procurement and Supply Chain to meet business objectives.



  • Developing Sales Strategies: Creating and implementing effective sales plans to meet company objectives.
  • Sales Excellence: Proactively partner with cross divisional salesforce excellence teams to develop and implement learning to upskill the EPS sales team, shape strategy, governance and support execution of the Salesforce CRM platform and integrated LMS and selling tools.
  • Team Leadership: Leading, mentoring, and motivating the sales team to achieve their targets.
  • Market Analysis: Analyzing market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Sales Forecasting: Predicting future sales trends and setting realistic targets through relationships with customers.
  • Budget Management: Managing the sales budget and ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking sales performance and implementing improvements where necessary.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align strategies.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a technical field


KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:



  • 7+ years of progressive business/industry experience
  • Developing and implementing complex sales and related business programs and applying comprehensive sales, business, and related principles and practices
  • Proven record of achieving aggressive goals and objectives
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Strong decision making, business judgment and follow-through skills


Preferred:



  • Experience in CASE - Coating, Adhesives, Sealants and Elastomers
  • Influencing executive management
  • Developing and monitoring budgets; understanding of marketing, research and development, manufacturing, and related business functions
  • Providing consultation and advice on overall business strategies and philosophies
  • Demonstrated strong collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated strong strategy planning and implementation skills
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change


TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:



  • Advanced PC skills/Microsoft Office applications (specific focus on Excel skills) and other applicable applications.
